        <![CDATA[<p>The official match ball of the UEFA Champions League 2012-13, the Finale 12, is also the official 2012-13 match ball of the Virginia Club Champions League.</p><div>The striking black and yellow circuit design of the adidas Finale 12 will be used by all competing clubs in the UEFA Champions League 2012-13 season. Chelsea, as Champions, retain the right to use the Finale Munich in all their home games until the knockout stages.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Each VCCL team, boys and girls U11 through U18/19, received a Finale 12 ball. &nbsp;The home team will provide the match ball with the away team ball used as a backup for each VCCL match.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>The Finale 12 is used for VCCL match games only.</div>]]>

        <![CDATA[<p>Ian Stowe played soccer for FC Richmond and William &amp; Mary.<br />&nbsp; <br />In January of 2012, a brain tumor was discovered on Ian&rsquo;s brain stem.&nbsp; The tumor was biopsied at Inova Fairfax Hospital, and after a week of pathology testing, Ian was diagnosed with Germinoma, a rare type of germ cell tumor typically resulting from a failure of germ cells to migrate properly in the body.&nbsp;<br />&nbsp; <br />Ian returned home to Richmond&nbsp; to to receive chemothereapy and radiation treatments.&nbsp; Ian is now in the radiation phase of treatment and continues to do well.<br />&nbsp; <br />Many of Ian&rsquo;s former teammates at William and Mary have started StoweStrong to help benefit Ian and cancer awareness.&nbsp; To follow StoweStrong, visit <a href="http://www.stowestrong.com">www.stowestrong.com</a>.</p>]]>
